I have checked several different websites trying to find help with this error message. Last night I recorded a band with an MBox 2 to an external harddrive connected to my Macbook. The session plays back fine on my laptop. When I plug the external hard drive into my G5 (more powerful so I use this for editing and plug-ins), it won't playback at all, all I get is: DAE error 9060.
The most common suggested solution I've seen is to make sure no Norton anti-virus or disk analysis operation can be going on at the same time or to make sure to disable your firewall. I've only been running Pro-Tools, no other applications and even though this session only contains two stereo audio tracks with no kind of processing whatsoever, it refuses to playback. I've also shut down, restarted, etc. several times, no dice. The Digi website doesn't have a whole lot written about this particular error message. Any ideas SD pro tools users?
